Castrol Moly Grease is a multipurpose grease based on an optimized balance of mineral base oil, lithium thickener technology, and a specially selected additive system with EP/anti-wear chemistry, antioxidants, and corrosion inhibitors. The addition of molybdenum disulfide enhances load-carrying capacity and reduces friction, especially in parts with reciprocating or sliding motion. The versatile nature of Castrol Moly Grease allows its use in parts of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles, including flexible hinge pins, cams, threads, splines, slides, and fifth wheels. • Its excellent mechanical stability maintains the structural integrity of the grease, extending relubrication intervals • Good anti-wear and extreme pressure properties provide long-term protection in loaded applications, extending component life • The presence of molybdenum disulfide provides the advantage of reducing friction and resistance to shock loads • Good water resistance and corrosion protection provide prolonged surface protection in applications with some degree of water contamination
